Following Pixar’s Kevin Around Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Kevin, the bird from Pixar’s Up, is appearing daily at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and she is a wonderful addition to the park. You can find her roaming around Discovery Island at Disney World these days. I already can’t wait to go back and see her! Kevin starts her journey around Animal Kingdom near the Hakuna Matata Time dance party. Kevin really enjoys interacting with guests of Disney’s Animal Kingdom and exploring the park. Her path seems to be around the Tree of Life to the theater where UP! A Great Bird Adventure Show is performed. She did some funny poses with statues of Dug and Russell from Up outside the theater. Kevin even wanted some treats from a snack cart at Animal Kingdom. Summed up: the Kevin walkaround character at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a must see!

On our way to see Kevin, we passed by Animal Kingdom’s icon, the Tree of Life, and caught the ending of Winged Encounters. Since Kevin starts and ends her journey right by the Hakuna Matata Dance Time party, we caught some of the show with Timon and Meeko. Over in the Dinoland USA section of Animal Kingdom at Disney World, we caught Scrooge McDuck trying to pin trade with a cast member, but, unfortunately, he forgot his pins at home. We caught a bit of Burudika’s performance, which is always enjoyable. Over in Pandora — The World of Avatar, we caught a demo of the Pandora Utility Suit. We also noticed some refurbishment happening on the black light paint in Pandora — The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
