An Incredible Celebration at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

My morning at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Disney World started off with some excitement as I witnessed testing of one of the gondolas that became part of the Disney Skyliner Gondola system at the Walt Disney World Resort. I still think about this first movement when I ride the Disney Skyliner today! Along with the gondola testing, we also checked out the new bus depots and restrooms outside of the park. Inside of the park, we enjoyed a Streetmosphere performance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and had a brief encounter with some Stormtroopers. In Toy Story Land, we spotted some 30th anniversary banners featuring Toy Story’s own Jessie, Woody, and Slinky Dog. We visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios on the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, which proved to bring out the crowds! We spotted long waits for Slinky Dog Dash and Tower of Terror. There was also a fairly long line to meet Mike and Sully of Monsters, Inc inside the Walt Disney Presents exhibit. The main purpose of this visit was to experience the Incredibles Celebration at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Edna Mode greeted a long line of people. Jack-Jack’s Cookie Num Nums were served and lots of dancing was going on! Municiberg sure knows how to throw a party! I’m looking forward to trying the “Where’s Jack-Jack?” scavenger hunt when it’s fully operational. The Super Shindig dance party was a lot of fun! Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone all make appearances during this dance party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Judging by what we saw with Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, it appears the supers show off some of their powers in a fun, approachable way, before mingling with the crowd and grooving to the music.
